Aims & Objectives of ISTE Chapter
- Formulate the general goals and responsibilities of technical education
- To harness the knowledge of Engineering Sciences for the welfare of the society.
- Develop effective teachers and educational administrators.
- Improve Instructional methods and practices and administrative usages.
- Enhance professional ideals and standards.
- Bring out effective linkage between technical institutions, industry and society.
- Award honorary fellowships, awards and prizes for furthering the objectives of Technical Education.
ISTE @ VRSEC
- The VRSEC owes an Educational Institution Membership of ISTE for both faculty and students.
- The membership validity is life time for faculty and 4 years / 3 years as per duration of the course for the students.
- At present the chapter has around 503student members and 50 faculty members from the various departments
- ISTE Student Chapter organizes various events like Inter departmental competitions, Quiz competitions etc.
- Organizes Guest Lectures by experts from industry, R&D, Defence services, government departments and other sources.
- Organize programmes on report writing, project management.
- Lectures on moral values and ethics.
- Discussions, brain-storming sessions, group activities.
- Training in public speaking and becoming a master Student.
