The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is the premier national professional, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing technical education in India. With the motto “Career Development of Teachers and Personality Development of Students,” ISTE strives for the overall enhancement of the technical education system by promoting excellence in teaching, learning, research, and professional development.

Aims and Objectives of the ISTE Chapter

ISTE at V.R. Siddhartha School of Engineering (VRSSE)

The V.R. Siddhartha School of Engineering (VRSSE) holds an Institutional Membership with ISTE, enabling both faculty members and students to actively participate in various professional development activities.

• • Faculty Membership: Lifetime membership.
  • Student Membership: Valid for the duration of the academic programme (3 or 4 years, depending on the course).
  • The chapter currently has 1,503 student members and 60 faculty members representing various academic departments.

Major Activities of the ISTE Student Chapter

The ISTE Student Chapter at VRSSE regularly organizes a wide range of academic, professional, and personality development programmes, including:
