- 65% of the faculty with Ph.D qualification from premier institutions encompassing IITs, NITs, BITS and government universities to institute strong foundation and impart necessary skills.
- Received licensed EDA tools such as Synopsys, Cadence, Keysight, Ansys, and Xilinx under the C2S ChipIN programme, supported by MeitY, Government of India, empowers semiconductor and VLSI research.
- Industry collaborated labs: IoT (EFFTRONICS) and Test engineering (TESSOLVE) labs to strengthen semiconductor industry.
- Establishment of TIFAC CORE in Telematics by DST, New Delhi and industries with outlay of 1.6 Crore, first of its kind in the state of AP, for producing industry ready students in the focused core areas.
- Currently handling projects worth Rs 1.5 Crore and more than Rs 3.5 Crore completed from BARC, ISRO, DST etc.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is dedicated to cultivating technically proficient and socially responsible engineers. Through a cutting-edge curriculum and innovative teaching methods, we provide a solid foundation in electronics and communication technologies. Our program emphasizes expertise in the design, development, and implementation of application-oriented engineering systems, with particular focus on VLSI and IoT technologies, enabling students to develop functional hardware and software modules for signal processing and communication applications. We have established Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with prestigious institutions such as IIT Bombay and IISc Bangalore, as well as industry partners like Lam Research and AVANTEL. These collaborations offer our students valuable opportunities for internships and involvement in research projects, enhancing their employability and practical skills.
