
About The Department
The department was started in 1995 as Instrumentation Engineering. Later it was renamed as Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering in 2003 with an intake of 120 students. Since its inception, the department has been committed to excellence in teaching, innovation, and research. With a team of 22 dedicated faculty members, most of whom are highly experienced and specialized in various domains of instrumentation and automation, the department provides strong academic and professional mentorship. The department is equipped with advanced laboratories, including both state-of-the-art facilities and industry-collaborative labs, which enable students to gain hands-on experience aligned with current technological trends and industrial practices. Our focus remains on nurturing technically competent, industry-ready graduates who can contribute meaningfully to the fields of Process Control, Automation, Embedded Systems, and Industrial Instrumentation.

Faculty
The Boards of Studies of the respective program prepare the program curriculum and course syllabus and approved by the Academic Council. Program Outcomes, Knowledge, skills and attitude, and Program Educational Objectives have been established for each program and the curriculum and course syllabus have been structured in such a way that each of the course contributes to the one or more of these outcomes. The curriculum and course syllabus varies depending on the year of admission.
