The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) at VR Siddhartha Engineering College (VRSEC) presently known as Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education(Deemed to be University) was established in 2005 with the vision of fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem that inspires innovation, creativity, and enterprise among students and faculty. The Cell serves as a dedicated platform to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset and promote technology-based entrepreneurship, contributing to wealth creation, employment generation, and sustainable socio-economic development.

EDC is committed to developing an institutional mechanism that nurtures entrepreneurial culture through awareness programs, capacity-building initiatives, and industry-academia collaboration. The Cell provides aspiring entrepreneurs with opportunities to participate in workshops, seminars, expert talks, boot camps, innovation challenges, startup mentoring sessions, and networking events that strengthen entrepreneurial competencies and leadership skills.
